  • (sports) A televised virtual electronic videogame version of a sporting series, with high fidelity visuals and high realism simulation of the physics of the sport, replacing normal televised sport due to quarantine and social distancing, using regular professional sportspeople of the physical sport. In the case of motorsports, the pilots/drivers also are fitted into simulation cockpits with feedback controls.
